Finally, I was able to restore the automated download by deactivating and reactivating the online download for the account. I tried the "reset" multiple times each time Quicken froze and had to be killed. Trying to "reset" the online setup using Quicken's instructions provided by the error handling pop-ups caused Quicken to freeze until I killed it with Task Manager.
